I am all right. Thank you for worrying about me.

My town and its surrounding areas have not been affected very much.
Although I’m very sorry for the people living in devastated areas, my family and house are fortunately safe and sound and we carry on normal life.

The Pacific side of the Japanese archipelago has suffered the severest damage in the country from a series of earthquake disasters this time.
The tsunami engulfed houses and cars and the area is catastrophically damaged. All has been lost.
Thousands, and thousands of people have been affected. Many people have been killed. Still many more people have been missing. We still don't know the extent of human casualties.

The earthquake has affected other countries, too. It has been horrifying.

The atomic power station at TOHOKU area in Japan is in the critical situation because of this earthquake.
As explosion at nuclear power plant in the disaster area caused power shortage, the bureau has decided to conduct rolling blackouts every 4 hours a day by dividing Kanto region into 5 groups.

Aftershocks are being felt one after another .
After the earthquake disaster, Japanese people have begun to buy foods and daily items for stock due to anxiety.
So, people are making long lines at supermarkets and petrol stations.
However, all of us are making efforts to keep things as normal as possible.

I look at played an active part for a Japanese rescue team and the various places of the stricken area and am really impressed, and oneself feels it if it is deplorable.
Besides, I do not forget it as the prayer from the other countries, all the support Japanese throughout the life and thank you heartily.
